i have a 3" thermal r+d with a 3" carsound cat and 2.5" kamikaze header.
make no mistake. IT IS LOUD. It had to be the loudest thing out there..and must be far from legal. i think someone on clubsi ended up having a resonator welded in.
the loud droning sound gets tiresome during highway driving. however the scream when winding it out is cool. i hear a pop as vtec engages.
Thermal NOT LOUD? what the heck, i heard a thermal a few times and it's one of the loudest exhausts i heard, but it's not like a lawnmower, it's very deep

It's installed. I just got done with a test drive... pretty loud. Deep, not raspy, but it really opens up. Every little miss engine blurp, is heard, it's quite the sound.
It really drones at 4,000 while crusing... just a long RRRRR... noisy enough.
The car pulls hard all the way up, but feels a little weak down under 2 grand, more than before. But I'm sure some cam gear tuning is in order, and maybe some fuel tuning too... we'll see.
